I spent five days in Tokyo, mostly at the Westin
in Ebisu, with one extra night at the Tokyu Mark in Shibuya. I
didn’t rent a car since I had heard driving in Tokyo is
confusing. I got around very quickly and cheaply on the excellent Tokyo
subway system.
It amazed me how much energy people seemed to have. People were out at
all hours of the night enjoying themselves, and everyone seemed to be
going somewhere exciting.
