I spent a day and a half in Osaka, forty minutes by train from Kyoto.
Osaka people have a reputation of being friendly and the nightlife is supposed to be fantastic. I walked around looking for Jazz bars, but Monday night is probably not the best night out.
I stayed at the Hilton and spend the day at the Osaka-jo castle and the Osaka Aquarium.
