Photos from the Manoa Caucus. Chaos reigned at the Democratic parties Manoa Caucus. Turnout was about twice what they expected and five to ten times average. Eventually they ran out of both ballots and patience. Eventually they gave up on trying to vote in an organized manner. They stopped checking ID, voter status and party membership and just had everyone write their vote on a scrap of paper and put it into a paper bag. We were on the honor system to vote once.

On the plus side, the Obama people were handing out chips and cookies.

I'm going to hit the Republican caucus in May as well, but unfortunately their race isn't as interesting this year.
